Holiday sales are already upon us. Across the internet, retailers are bombarding shoppers with early Black Friday savings on everything from mattresses to Macbooks.

We urge you to make sure that any promised discount is actually a meaningful one. Prices are on the rise. In some product categories, like laptops, this year’s sale prices will approach last year’s full prices.

Our experts track prices on thousands of Wirecutter picks all year round, and have been monitoring early sales, vetting every ostensible discount for quality. Below, you’ll find our favorites, and we’ll continue to add more to the list as new discounts go live.

We don’t anticipate these prices dropping much more during Black Friday itself, so if you see something you really want this holiday season, don’t hold out for a lower price. In most cases, this is probably the best deal you’ll find in 2026.
